ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide administrative support to the Board Affairs Unit.
- Originate Board calendar and training planners for the Board
- Originate and manage all procurements necessary for Board work
- Draft advisory notes on corporate or any other matter as required
- Draft relevant reports relating to Board matters as and when required
- File all relevant governance documents in a timely manner
- Book calendars for Board meetings and ensure that all Board meetings run smoothly
- Support the Manager Board Affairs in drafting and reviewing relevant Board documents
- Follow through with various parties to prepare Board papers ahead of Board meetings; review and ensure that Board papers are presented in the agreed formats
- 10)Implement tools and frameworks for control of Board Documents
- 11)Support and participate in initiatives and processes to create awareness across the UNOC business on legal, regulatory, and internal policies compliance requirements
- 12)Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor(s)
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelors degree (Hons) in law (LLB)
- A Diploma in Legal Practice.
- Possession of a valid practicing certificate is an essential requirement
- Membership to ICSA is an added advantage
- At least 6 (six) years’ relevant experience in a busy corporate entity of high repute.
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with Board matters and in providing advisory services in a large corporate entity
