Terminal Officer – UNOC

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Ensure stocks are reconciled on a daily basis and copies of reconciliation maintained on file
  • Keep record of all stock movements, for both incoming and outgoing
  • Report weekly on stock movement indicating volume status for duty paid and bonded cargo balances
  • Track the status of bonded cargo and ensure weekly and monthly alignment and sign off with URA
  • Initiate total stock movement to facilitate invoicing for throughput charges
  • Obtain summaries of key operating expenses for the facility
  • Organize quarterly independent stock takes and year end stock taking
  • Obtain records of quality inspections of samples taken from the tanks on a regular basis to ensure quality of the fuel is not compromised
  • Participate in preparation and implementation of innovations and upgrades for continuous improvement and quality service delivery at the terminal.
  • Report on a regular basis, any material issues that may happen at the facility that require management’s notice
  • Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and instil a safety culture at the facility
  • Maintain record of HSE statistics
  • Ensure that quality assurance measures are implemented to provide quality services and products out of the terminal.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor(s)

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting and Finance or Engineering or any other relevant discipline from a recognised University
  • At least four (4) years proven working experience in depot or terminal operations
  • Proven experience in stocks management
  • Experience in maintenance management
